On September 13 and 14, 2023, the LIBSENSE Open Science Symposium will bring together major stakeholders from Nigeria’s research and education ecosystem. Launching a procedure to increase the visibility of Nigerian journals and books in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) is one of the symposium’s primary goals.
Participants will be drawn from policy-making institutions, library communities of practice, researchers, social innovators, and funders to discuss various open science-related topics, including infrastructure, policy, and capacity-building.
